The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience handling probate matters from start to finish, including contested and uncontested proceedings, trust administration, and estate planning.
ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of probate and trust administration matters from intake through resolutionDraft, review, and file all necessary court documents, including petitions, inventories, accountings, and closing statementsRepresent clients in probate hearings, mediations, and contested mattersAdvise fiduciaries and beneficiaries on probate and trust administration proceduresPrepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorneyCoordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure seamless estate administrationMaintain strong client relationships through regular communication and updatesQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolMember in good standing with The Florida BarMinimum of 5 + years’ experience in probate law and trust administrationStrong drafting, research, and advocacy skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple matters and meet court deadlinesStrong interpersonal and client communication skillsPreferredExperience with contested probate litigationBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceBenefits package available (details to be provided)Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
