Job Description:G3 Water Engineers is looking for an experienced Grade II or Grade III Water Treatment Operator with a thorough understanding of public water treatment operations. This individual will be in Responsible Charge of the facility and take ultimate responsibility for consistently providing safe drinking water in strict adherence with all local, state, and federal regulations. Position is for a brand new facility at a remote site in Northern Arizona that requires this individual to be present four to five days per week. This individual will oversee a small team of onsite operators who will perform day-to-day operations of the facility, providing remote support when not onsite. This individual will be responsible for all operational aspects of the facility including staffing, maintenance, SOP's, staff supervision and training, compliance reporting, ordering material, managing maintenance schedules, and all other tasks required to operate the facility. G3 Water Engineers is owned by engineers, allowing us to make decisions that are in the best long-term interests of our clients and employees.Required Skills/Abilities:· Experience operating ultrafiltration and nanofiltration membranes is strongly preferred.· Licensed Grade 3 Water Treatment operator in Arizona, or the ability to obtain within 3-months· High school diploma required. College associate or bachelor's degree preferred.· Valid driver's license in the United States· Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process related issues with treatment and conveyance equipment· Ability to safely lift up to 50-lbs· Ability to occasionally walk up to five miles· Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.· Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to schedule and manage a team of operators· Outstanding attention to detail· Establish and maintain strong relationships with the client· Supervise and mentor staff· Ability to travel and work from the remote site for two consecutive weeks every month. All travel related expenses, including lodging at the project site, are company paid.· Ability to be on-call and remotely monitor the facility when not onsite.
