Job Description:G3 Water Engineers is looking for an individual who loves to solve problems and work in a fast paced, collaborative environment to join our team of experienced engineers specializing in water and wastewater treatment design. This position requires an individual to have a thorough understanding of water and wastewater treatment process and conveyance design as well as experience interfacing with clients, overseeing technical process design, and managing engineering budgets. Seeking proactive individuals with strong interpersonal skills and client management skills to add further expertise to our growing group of water and wastewater engineers in our Boise, Idaho office.Who We Are:G3 Water Engineers is a small but growing water and wastewater process and conveyance design firm that specializes in design-build project delivery. G3 Water Engineers is owned by engineers, allowing us to make decisions that are in the best long-term interests of our clients and employees.Job Summary:An individual in this position would play a pivotal role in delivering projects to a range of clients in the municipal and industrial sectors by interfacing with the client and meeting their requests and designing to adhere to local or federal treatment guidelines. Applicants must have a strong technical background in water and wastewater process design, as well as experience coordinating completion of project deliverables with a team of EI’s and drafters. This individual will engage in marketing efforts to grow our client list and take ownership over projects that our team will assist in delivering.Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent is required. Other degrees engineering degrees with applicable experience will also be considered.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the United States.
  • Minimum of 5-years engineering and/or operations experience.
  • Preferred proficiency in AutoCAD products such as Civil 3D and Plant 3D
  • Preferred proficiency in hydraulic and process design programs such as BioWin, WaterCAD, and/or Bentley Flowmaster
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Industrial and Municipal clients
  • Contribute to company processes and guidelines
  • Strong project delivery skills including QA/QC, and the ability to manage multiple project scopes, budgets, and project teams
  • Supervise and mentor staff
  • Proficient construction support capabilities including working with contractors to answer RFI’s, review submittals, and coordinate change orders, particularly in a design-build environment.
  • Ability to work in the office a minimum of 4-days per week.
