This position will provide the following PeopleSoft Application and Architect support:
- Research, Document and Guide the PeopleSoft Infrastructure design/layout based on PeopleSoft best practices for implementation on upgrade.
- Support Installation, configuration/application triage of the various software components of PeopleSoft (WebLogic, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch, Oracle database) for new Peoplesoft required environments with latest technology stack
- Provide technical directions to meet business needs
- Work with other agencies and technical support teams in pursuit of technically excellent solutions
- Produce technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction
- Research, resolve, and test configurations
- Provide Research, Analysis and PeopleSoft Application support for the current Upgraded and Legacy PeopleSoft Applications
- Support the recently upgraded HCM application and future patches, upgrade and maintenance.
- Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
- Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
- 84 months of system administration experience in Oracle’s PeopleSoft HR & HCM 9 or higher release, where duties included installation, configuration, tuning, upgrade/patching, and perform code migrations in a Unix/Solaris/Linux environment.
- 84 Months of system administration experience utilizing PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.49 or higher, including installation, upgrading, patching, tuning/configuration.
- 84 Months experience in performing PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades utilizing PUM and Change Assistant tools.
- 60 Months experience with WebLogic and Tuxedo including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, upgrading, and high availability (HA).
- 60 Months experience with Oracle 10g or higher database releases in creating and maintaining Peoplesoft databases
