Live by strong moral compassPatience: Stay calm and gracious through challenges and delays.Our mission is for YOU to succeed.Key Responsibilities and Measures of Success:#1) Safety and supervision of our children by maintaining a 9.5/10 Neat & Tidy Rating in your classroom#2) Elevated focus on child growth and development by planning fun, hands-on activities aligned with the curriculum and posting it every week by Monday morning * #3) Communicate effectively with fellow teachers, staff, and leadership in accordance with the following standards so all feel supported and acknowledged:Acknowledge or respond to messages within 24 hours of receipt * #4) Build relationships and communicate with parents in alignment with the following standards:Send two pictures sent to parents in the morning and two in the afternoon for each childAcknowledge or respond to parent inquiries within 24 hours of receiptDaily face-to-face parent/guardian conversations at pick or drop offAt our facility, your fellow teachers will become your second family.Ideal Candidate Characteristics
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a teacher in an infant center
  • Even temperament to handle all situations and personalities
  • Loves to hold babies, play on the floor, and realizes that spit-up and diapers are just part of the gig
  • Limber and adaptable
POSITION REQUIRES completing Title 22 Guidelines and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of State laws and licensing requirements.COMPENSATION: $21/HOURBENEFITS

  • Prior to the offering of employment, the applicant's resume, transcripts, and other supporting documentation may be subject to review and approval by the Licensing Analyst assigned to our center by Community Care Licensing

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Meet requirements of a QUALIFIED TEACHER as specified per Title 22 Section: 101215.1:
  • Completion of Community Care Licensing Components I and III
  • 16 hours of health and safety training pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866
  • Pediatric CPR and First Aid certified with the ability to act quickly and appropriately during emergencies and hazardous situations
  • Must have current immunization shots: including MMR, Tdap, TB test, Influenza Shot, or waiver
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs
  • Must be able to routinely carry, bend, kneel, sit on small furniture and sit on the floor
  • Completion of State required forms, reports, and Criminal Background Check Clearance.
