
Solution Architect, Network and Cybersecurity

- Standard Solution Development: Design and develop standardized network and cybersecurity architectures for large-scale industrial automation projects, ensuring integration into the larger solution, consistency, security, and rapid deployment.
- Technical Leadership: Provide end-to-end technical leadership for secure network infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions, including segmentation, threat detection, and secure remote access.
- Cybersecurity Enablement: Train internal teams and partners on cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443), secure design principles, and Rockwell's cybersecurity offerings.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks in proposed architectures. Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer-specific security requirements.
- Project Leadership: Organize and lead cross-functional project teams to address unique business opportunities, determining fit and strategy for Rockwell Automation Lighthouse Industry Solutions.
- Industry Engagement: Represent Rockwell Automation at cybersecurity forums, industry events, and trade shows to promote thought leadership and solution awareness.
- Market Analysis: Analyze cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and competitive offerings to inform solution development and positioning. Understand and analyze market-level pricing to ensure competitive and cost-effective solutions.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with the Lighthouse Team to define secure network architectures, scope of supply, and bill of materials for proposals, ensuring risk reduction through thorough review and guidance.
- Business Development: Support the identification of new business opportunities, breakdown specific customer requests, and assist in the proposals/sales process.
- Customer Strategy: Evaluate customer needs and develop strategies to achieve acceptance and adoption of Rockwell Automation products and software, aligning technical, marketing, and contractual approaches with organizational objectives.
- Negotiation: Negotiate commercial features and arrangements with potential business partners, customers, and internal groups, effectively representing Rockwell Automation.
- Collaboration: Actively collaborate with Rockwell industry and application experts to keep the Lighthouse standard offering current with Rockwell's latest product introductions, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- The ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- BS in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years in network architecture, cybersecurity engineering, or technical sales support in industrial environments.
- Previous experience in delivering large complex control system projects.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
- Proven experience managing conflicting demands and expectations in complex environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of network and cybersecurity projects and equipment, including Rockwell Automation products and non-Rockwell products as required.
- Strong consulting skills, including written, oral, analytical, and presentation abilities.
- Experience with Power, Automation, and Network systems in industrial environments.
- 8 years of technical sales support in control system implementation.
- Previous sales experience is highly desirable.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GICSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent.
