
Regional Security Trainer

- Develop and deliver training content for internal staff and client-specific needs.
- Facilitate programs in compliance with Allied Universal standards and all applicable laws and regulations.
- A typical week includes Student instruction at the branch Monday-Wednesday, then range days/client site visits on Thursday and Friday.
- Provide specialty training in CPR/First Aid/AED, defensive tactics, firearms qualifications, mobility devices, and field training.
- Partner with HR and branch leadership to implement contract- and regulation-compliant training programs.
- Oversee Training Academy performance across regions, promoting continuous improvement.
- Ensure training compliance for armed officers, mobile patrol, and use of force requirements.
- Participate in WFM and operations meetings; present training metrics using DOMO.
- Distribute weekly reports on training completions and upcoming virtual instructor-led sessions.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients.
- Conduct quarterly site audits to address training gaps and provide on-site instruction.
- Meet with clients, document findings, and implement improvement plans.
- Build relationships with local training academies as needed.
- Deliver contracted services (e.g., fire safety, workplace violence training).

- At a Minimum, one of the following (in order to obtain the NRA Law Enforcement Firearm Instructor Certification):
2. Minimum of (3) years experience as a current, retired or previously employed public law enforcement or correctional officer, working for a federal, state, county municipal or other government agency who is required to be armed.
3. A current(not retired or former) uniformed or civilian member of the US Military, Military Reserves or National Guard, or a Full-Time civilian firearm instructor employed by a Public Law Enforcement Agency or a Government Contractor (GSA) Approved
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary state or federal licensing requirements
- Current driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending networking events)
- Excellent customer-service skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of individuals professionally in a courteous and professional manner
- Proven experience with personnel supervision and management
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to write manuals, review and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations
- Highly proficient and fully functional in Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint
- Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
- Willingness and ability to travel as well as work extended hours to meet business objectives
- Must be able to focus and multi-task in busy environment, with the ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
- College degree in Education, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or other private security or law enforcement related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of classroom instructor experience
- Prior experience in teaching in the fire service, security industry, law enforcement and/or military
