- Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Plan daily tasks to ensure timely vendor invoice processing.
- Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow.
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely.
- Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and updated accounting files and records.
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Assist in month-end closing by ensuring all accounts payable transactions are recorded.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any payment issues.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Assist with audit support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
- Generate regular accounts payable reports for the Office Manager.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in accounts receivable or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and online platforms.
- Strong mathematical skills and understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Excellent communication skills with a courteous and professional demeanor to interact effectively with internal teams and external customers.
