- Operates production equipment including but not limited to printers, binders, and trimmers.
- Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
- Ensures operational requirements are met in the set-up operation and the use of customer equipment and related product materials.
- Communicates with team and escalates issues when equipment is not working properly.
- Requires understanding of computer program functionality and software.
- Ability to accomplish the describe duties per the production schedule for the customer.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, quantitative, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand, remember and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work as an integral part of a team.
- Ability to read and understand written procedures and diagrams for production workflow.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and be punctual.
- High School degree or equivalent or six months’ related work experience required.
- Experience operating production print and or post print processing equipment.
- Computer program functionality and software skills preferred.
- This position may require some travel for training purposes.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
- Ability to operate large machinery.
- Requires lifting to fifty (50) pounds.
- Requires walking and standing; using hands to feel objects; reaching; and requires balance.
- Requires stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling.
- Ability to work in a loud environment.
- Ability to work in small, cramped areas.
- Ability to work in elevated environment up to ten (10) feet.
- Work is performed in a controlled office, retail, and manufacturing environment; noise within acceptable safety levels; paper dust prevalent; cleaners and solvents used to clean machines; machines contain moving parts.
