With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment) to produce precision parts according to specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with tolerances.Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and reporting any malfunctions or repair needs.Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and team members to optimize machining processes.Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred.Prior experience as a CNC machinist (2+ years preferred, but entry-level candidates with training will be considered).Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T.Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.Ability to use precision measuring instruments and conduct quality inspections.Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.What We Offer:Competitive hourly wage based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company.A supportive and inclusive workplace culture.The chance to contribute to a company that values innovation, precision, and quality craftsmanship.At Legacy Talent Search, we are more than just a staffing agency.
