Senior Financial Analyst – IT Finance
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large, global company seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst (IT Finance) to join their team. Position Summary:
As the Senior Financial Analyst (IT Finance), you will act as a key business partner to the Chief Information Officer (CIO). You’ll own budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure tracking, financial modeling, variance and ROI analysis, and help drive strategic decisions through data and insight. This is a highly visible role within the organization, ideal for someone with strong systems acumen and a passion for process improvement.Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the CIO to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis for global IT operations
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for IT spend (~$20M annually)
  • Track capital expenditures and manage project accounting and labor utilization analysis
  • Drive ROI and risk analysis for new IT investments and initiatives
  • Monitor and report on IT-specific KPIs and financial performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities across IT Finance
  • Utilize tools such as SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel to build dashboards, models, and reports
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
  • Support ad hoc analysis and executive-level reporting as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA and/or CPA preferred)
  • 3–6+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or related roles
  • Prior experience in IT Finance strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate finance principles
  • Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, Excel modeling, and planning/reporting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence IT stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a drive for automation
  • Proven track record of stability and career progression required for consideration
