Position Overview:
Our client has an immediate need for a skilled FP&A Analyst to support their finance team. The ideal candidate will bring advanced Excel expertise, hands-on experience with NetSuite, and a strong background in both brick-and-mortar and online retail operations. This role will be instrumental in driving financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis.Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial results and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate performance trends and variances.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior leadership.
- Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within NetSuite and other financial systems.
- Identify and implement process improvements within FP&A functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experience, preferably in the retail sector.
- Proficiency in NetSuite ERP and advanced Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros).
- Experience in both physical retail and e-commerce environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Understanding of retail KPIs and inventory management.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
