Job DescriptionSummary: The Learning and Development Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs to educate our employees, customers, and school partners on the Stride/K12 products and services, including interactive workshops, product support assets, and to improve online modules. The individual will be creating and facilitating professional development sessions to expand beyond standard functionality.Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Design and develop engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and job aids, to support the learning needs of employees, customers, and partners.Conduct virtual and/or on-site training sessions for various audiences, including teachers, administrators, existing employees, customers, and partners, to ensure they have a deep understanding of our products, features, and functionalities.Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and insights needed to create effective training content and training course content.Continuously assess training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.Stay up-to-date on product updates, enhancements, and industry trends to ensure training content remains current and relevant.Provide ongoing support and guidance to all stakeholders by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and addressing training-related inquiries.Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to promote adoption and usage of our products and services.Maintain training documentation, records, and materials in an organized and accessible manner.Supports initiatives to increase engagement with products and platforms, such as designing and facilitating new user trainings;Attends all meetings pertaining to product and platform functionality and/or enhancements and assists in cross-training internal team members;Continues to learn about new and enhanced Stride products and platforms to become proficient and incorporates updates and enhancements of products into skill set;Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.Required Qualifications:Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in talent development, educational training or related positionUnderstanding of effective training methodologies and a true passion for working with adult learnersAbility to travel up to 25% of timeMicrosoft Office 365; Web proficiency.Ability to clear required background checkDESIRED Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in education or similar field of studyProfessional Training CertificationInstructional Design CertificationDesign tools, such as CanvaWork Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.This is a home-based position.Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
  • We anticipate the salary range to be $45,118.00 to $63,984.60 per year. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
