
HR Generalist

- Administer the hourly employment office functions and processes, assist with workforce analysis, deployment and people power management based on contractual obligations and corporate policies.
- Manage the day-to-day employment window functions: leave tracking, reinstatements, general employee questions and support, records management, etc.
- Implement the onboarding orientation sessions for the HBU workforce.
- Support the implementation and execution of our lean manufacturing methodology.
- Drive a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with the administration of the national and local collective bargaining agreements.
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Employment/Labor Relations/Manufacturing experience
- Utilize lean manufacturing tools in the context of employee development
- Analyze and utilize data to make decisions
- Experience with managing conflict and having difficult conversations
- Demonstrated ability to be approachable, able to communicate with all levels of employees, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong follow up, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Manufacturing experience is highly desirable
