- As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting a smooth and efficient manufacturing operation by delivering employment support for Hourly Bargaining Unit (HBU) employees.
- Your efforts will directly contribute to a positive employee experience and a productive workplace culture.
- Administer hourly employment office functions, including workforce analysis, deployment, and people power management in alignment with contractual obligations and corporate policies.
- Manage daily employment window activities such as leave tracking, reinstatements, employee inquiries, and records management.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation sessions for HBU employees.
- Support the implementation and execution of lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Promote a positive workplace culture by driving employee engagement initiatives at the plant level.
- Assist in the administration of national and local collective bargaining agreements.
- BA Degree
- Manufacturing exp (1 year)
- Union exp
- HR exp (1 year)
- Prior experience in Employment, Labor Relations, or Manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools, especially in the context of employee development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage conflict and conduct difficult conversations professionally.
- Demonstrated approachability and effective communication across all employee levels.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
