
DC Team Member V - 3rd Shift

- Determines daily work schedule via work board instructions and by receiving direction from Lead Team Member and Supervisor.
- Perform equipment inspection and complete proper documentation before operating any equipment
- Proficient in all equipment
- Utilize certified forklift training to train all DCTMs on each type of equipment
- Performs process training for DCTMs
- Learning to plan and communicate with customer service regarding any priority or special request orders; answer questions and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Review special orders and shipping requirements to plan specific routing; follow up with picking shipping to ensure orders were processed accordingly
- Work closely with Lead/Supervisor to plan waves and coordinate shipping schedules
- Learning to communicate with Traffic department to coordinate FTL, special price quotes, and carrier issues
- Scan BOLs and paperwork into SAP
- Receives returns; verifies quantities match the documentation; confirms items in CRM and coordinates with inside sales
- Inspect product for damage or non-compliance to product or packaging
- Perform all tasks associated with a DCTM IV
- With limited supervision, perform high level troubleshooting functions including but not limited to researching shortage causes and correct in WMS accordingly, managing inbound and outbound flow by adjusting processes and correcting issues, etc.

- Re-label product with bad barcodes
- Other quality tasks as instructed.
- Focus on individual quality improvement and maintain highest quality standards to ensure the customer receives all orders correct, on time, and as requested.
- Work with leadership team to create personal improvement plan for individual process or quality issues
- Contributes to any process changes in response to errors to the customer
- Correct and record Technical errors from manufacturing and vendors
- Proactive Damage Control - Work toward error proofing, recognizing problems before they happen; communicate and notify supervisor of potential problems and help to eliminate the opportunity for future problems while maintaining proper communication channels
- Maintain individual process performance
- Ability to move from task to task without supervision or instruction
- Assisting other team members with tasks or instruction to achieve daily production goals
- Strive to reduce the order throughput time
- Adjust operator positions to achieve optimal inbound and outbound throughput throughout the day
- Meets with Lead and Supervisor daily to review goals and schedule
- Answers questions and assists DC Team Member I-IV as needed.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
- Maintains clean work environment; may perform 5S activities (sort, straighten, shine, standardize, and sustain) to organize and manage distribution center.
- Perform other duties such as inventory control, cycle counting, lean and continuous workflow improvement, etc.
- Demonstrate reliability and good work ethic in all aspects of the job
- May be required to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Must have accurate counting and math skills.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Ability to read and understand information presented
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, etc.
- Ability to lift and move heavy or bulky items weighing 50 pounds or more
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to pay close attention to detail

- Ability to adhere to the highest standards of quality while continually performing at the highest possible level
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 12- 18 months of related experience and/or proficiency in all related tasks
- Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred
- Lean experience preferred
- SAP experience preferred
