I.T. is also a team where individual contributions are recognized, and career advancement is nurtured.Role Description:As a Security Operations Analyst II, you’ll play a vital role in detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats that impact our organization. Based in our St. Louis, Missouri office, you will investigate advanced security alerts, perform in-depth log analysis, and collaborate across teams to enhance our threat detection and incident response capabilities. In this role, you’ll own products and processes within your domain, optimize SIEM rules, and lead threat detection efforts while mentoring junior analysts. Your ability to correlate data across multiple security tools, stay ahead of emerging threats, and execute response efforts will make you an essential part of the team.   • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
  • 3 or more years of experience in security operations, threat detection, or incident response.
  • 3 or more years of experience in networking infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, and IDS/IPS.
  • Proficiency in log correlation, event analysis, and malware behavior detection.
  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms, digital forensics, vulnerability analysis, and basic penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud security monitoring (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of the incident response lifecycle (detection, containment, eradication, recovery).
  • Security-related certification (e.g., CEH, CySA+, GCIH) preferred.
  • Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with IT and security teams.
  • Mentorship experience with junior analysts.
