- Provide technical advice, coaching and guidance on health and safety training programs to address regulatory requirements and job-site-specific operational and safety concerns.
- Collaborate with Cool Today leadership, supervisors, and project functions to review process specifications to ensure safety and human factors considerations in all projects.
- Conduct on the job site visits, at all locations, to ensure safety processes and procedures are being followed.
- Work with EPA, OSHA and other pertinent federal, state and local regulatory agencies to manage regulatory compliance.
- Ensure OSHA compliance within all locations including New Hire safety training and ongoing safety training, Working at heights (ladders), Chemical Safety, Record keeping and reporting (OSHA 300 Logs)
- Implement and enforce the cardinal rules for safety: Take Responsibility for Safety, Use Proper Lifting Techniques, Practice Ladder Safety, Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Perform Hazardous Energy Control (Lockout/Tagout), Drive Safely
- Take the lead in conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis when incidents occur and ensure corrective actions are put in place to prevent recurrence.
- NATE Certified, desired but not required
- Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
- Experience with drving/driver safety
- 5+ years of experience working in the skilled trades HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical
- Experience in dealing with multiple regulatory agencies including OSHA and EPA
