  • You will develop and recommend program policy guidance.
  • You will lead the planning, analysis, and evaluation of acquisition, logistics, and service programs.
  • You will use a deep understanding of management principles to assess program performance, identify inefficiencies, and make data-driven recommendations to improve productivity.
  • You will manage the team's workload and provide technical and administrative guidance and supervision to division and NETPDC personnel. This includes assessing future staffing needs and identifying training opportunities.
  • You will serve as the alternate Agency Coordinator for the Government Commercial Purchase Card, leveraging expertise in government purchases and Depot Level Repairable transactions
  • You will develop position papers, background materials, situation summaries, formal reviews, and impact statements regarding subject programs.
  • You will provide expert advice, consultations, and assistance to supervisors and staff concerning acquisition and logistics matters for programs.
  • You will conduct research and evaluations to solve complex problems and ensure effective program outcomes.
  • You will recommend management procedures, internal control training and implementation policies, performance criteria, and short/long term plans for subject programs.

  • This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of acquisition, logistics, and service programs; 2) Developing and/or providing technical clarification relative to requirements in performance work statements, acquisition strategy documents, technical specifications, and other acquisition documentation; 3) Utilizing complex fact-finding, analytical and problem-solving methods and techniques to identify problems and recommend solutions; 4) Identifying inefficiencies and improving program productivity and processes through conducting research, field surveys, and evaluations in order to make decisions/recommendations based an analysis of the data; and 5) Managing the workload and providing technical/administrative guidance to subordinates.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:Additional informationThis position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.Federal annuitant information: The selection of an annuitant is subject to the Department of Defense and Department of the Navy policy on the employment of annuitants.
