Job Description:ResponsibilitiesAssistant Director of Clinical ServicesAlabama Clinical Schools, a subsidiary of UHS, has a rich history of providing excellent behavioral health services in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. Our effective treatment services include intensive residential treatment for males ages 9-18 as well as therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages. This is in addition to serving as therapist on assigned cases and Program Coordinator on assigned units. A special focus of the Assistant Director is gathering and submitting required data to DHR, DMH, and UHS.   • Graduate from an approved college or university with a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or closely related field.
  • Current license as a LMSW, LICSW, LPC, or ALC in the State of Alabama is required.
  • Minimum 2 years demonstrated excellence in counseling and social work
  • Ability to manage clinical therapy programs and milieu
