We're seeking a skilled IT Software Applications Specialist to maintain, optimize, and support our applications and databases.At the VHA we work closely with local governments and other community partners throughout Clark County to address issues of affordable housing and homelessness and help families break the cycle of poverty. We provide affordable housing and housing assistance to low-income residents in Clark County.Your skills and experience will support our mission as you:
  • Provide hands-on support for business applications, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with software vendors for solutions.
  • Create, modify, and automate reports to improve efficiency.
  • Optimize T-SQL queries and maintain relational database performance and security.
  • Support ERP and document management systems.
  • Collaborate across departments to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Assist in database server updates and configuration.
  • Analyze complex problems, recommend solutions, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay and Benefits
  • A new employee in this position will be paid $92,671.80 - $97,305.39 per year based on experience. In compliance with the Equal Pay & Opportunities Act, the full salary range is $92,671.80 - $139,007.70 per year.

Requirements
  • MS 365 Certified.
  • Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, accounting, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of increasingly responsible systems analysis, programming, accounting and/or design and generation from database applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in and advanced knowledge of database management and reporting including SQL, Crystal Reports, and MS Office Suite Applications.
  • Experience administering SQL based database, computer hardware and telecommunications functions strongly preferred.
  • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
