- Lead and Innovate: Spearhead the planning, organization, and implementation of systems engineering processes, driving improvements and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Program-Centric Approach: Collaborate closely with program customers to support the definition of system requirements, enable seamless systems integration, and ensure systems verification.
- Architectural Excellence: Conduct comprehensive analyses to optimize system architecture, ensuring mission success through innovative solutions.
- Safety and Quality Assurance: Lead efforts to analyze and integrate critical systems factors, including safety, reliability, and quality, for systems engineering products.
- Subject Matter Expert: Provide systems engineering expertise to the Air Dominance engineering teams through technical design reviews, program gate reviews, and other independent reviews as needed by the engineering function.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 9+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor degree or 7+ years of work-related experience with a Masters degree or 4+ years of work-related experience with a PhD.
- Prior Systems Engineering experience to include but not limited to system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation
- Leadership experience to include but not limited to engineering leadership roles and/or leading work and driving teams to success
- Technical understanding with one or more of these tools (Cameo, MSOSA, Rhapsody or DOORS)
- Exceptional Communicator: Ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentorship Skills: Experience in training and mentoring early career engineers, fostering the next generation of talent.
- Military Aircraft Lifecycle Knowledge: Familiarity with the military aircraft development lifecycle and Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
