Failure Analysis Lab Technician – Day Shift

Duration: Ongoing contractDuties:Follow instructions from lead engineers and job requesters to support lab activities.Operate optical microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM), focused ion beam (FIB), polishing wheel, and perform chemical highlighting techniques in a fume hood.Perform fault isolation and physical characterization of advanced semiconductor technology development wafers.Maintain lab equipment, sort, and store wafers in an organized manner.Support overall lab operations and adhere to safety and quality protocols.Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.Ability to comprehend 3D structures and translate them into 2D cross-sections.Manual dexterity and steady hands for handling small objects.Basic understanding of chemistry and physics.Experience:Prior experience in the semiconductor industry (5+ years preferred).Familiarity with integrated circuit fundamentals (5+ years preferred).Hands-on experience with SEM, FIB, and optical microscope operations (5+ years preferred).Education:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (such as Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Electrical Engineering) preferred; equivalent experience considered.Schedule:
This is a rotating day shift role.
