- Manage the day-to-day activities for global, employee-facing talent programs in alignment with overall business goals.
- Provide direction for the design and delivery of talent development processes and programs that address prioritized enterprise needs for the present and build for the future while aligning with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Partner with Shipboard L&D teams to support the development and execution of talent management programs, specifically for shipboard employees
- Manage a team of 3 talent specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure successful program execution.
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify needs and support the creation of strategic solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of talent development programs, including training, mentorship, and career development initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent programs, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide hands-on support in the execution of talent initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide goals.
- Use industry research, resources, and tools appropriately for best-in-class talent and performance management strategies.
- Use financial acumen and strategically driven decision-making to manage and meet budget guidelines and expectations.
- Foster a learning culture within the team, using teachable situations to offer insightful coaching.
- Manage a team of internal talent/resources in the design, development, and deployment of talent management solutions.
- Attract and retain top talent within the function.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in talent management or a related field, with a focus on program implementation and team management.
- Proven ability to develop and execute talent strategies that drive employee engagement and development.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in talent management.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working in a global organization.
- Certification in talent management or a related field.
