- Perform maintenance of process equipment in various shops depending on the department.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on all types of production equipment.
- Correctly document all preventive maintenance activities performed.
- Collaborate with the maintenance planner to learn and utilize the CMMS system.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex issues on production equipment.
- Repair and/or replace defective parts.
- Support the installation of new equipment.
- Fabricate parts for plant and/or production equipment.
- Enforce and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance technician operations, mechanical and automotive repair, and automotive manufacturing.
- Expertise in preventive maintenance and electro-mechanical troubleshooting of shafts, motors, chains, and conveyor systems.
- Proficiency in PLC systems and troubleshooting robots and automated equipment.
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems, including the operation of cylinders and valves.
- Ability to use diagnostics tools such as multimeters.
- Understanding of electrical control systems.
- Detailed mechanical troubleshooting abilities for robots and/or other automation equipment.
- Familiarity with shafts, motors, chains, and conveyor-related equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC logic controls (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.).
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment, including forklifts and other powered industrial trucks.
- Valid US driver's license and a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
