- Supervise and lead the maintenance team which includes Manufacturing equipment maintenance, Facilities maintenance and Housekeeping. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventative maintenance for machine tools and facilities equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform regular inspections of production equipment, facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests from staff, ensuring timely and effective service.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding building safety, equipment standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and replacement of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Manage relationships with third-party contractors, OEM Manufacturers and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control by tracking maintenance expenses and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Maintain and update records for equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure the facility is safe, clean, and organized, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities and suggest improvements to enhance facility operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in facilities management, or related field preferred).
- Experience in manufacturing / machine tool maintenance and repair.
- Proven experience in facility maintenance, equipment repair, or a similar field.
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
