Job Title: Summer 2026 I&E Engineer InternSummary: As an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Intern, you will support small-scale engineering projects focused on upgrading instruments and electrical equipment across the site. You will gain hands-on experience with SAP project tracking, vendor coordination, technical drawings, and construction planning, while also assisting the Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer on reliability initiatives and system modeling.Responsibilities Include:Primary focus will be on entering small projects into SAP PPM and following the project through while the intern is here.Track project through Excel spend file and SAPObtain quotes from vendorsOrder equipment through SAPComplete drawings of items being replaced by utilizing existing drawings.Writing a scope of work for construction for the project they are responsible for.Follow construction depending on timing of equipment arrival before intern leaves.Secondary focus will be assisting Sr. Electrical Reliability EngineerBuy equipment and materialsAssist with scope of works, drawings, and listings for projects.SAP work around PMsSKM Modeling for coordination and Arc FlashQualifications:The following are required for the rolePursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering TechnologyMicrosoft Office especially in Word and ExcelAutoCad or equivalent CAD softwareStudy electrical engineering or electrical engineering technologyProven ability to work in project teamsMust have a willingness to learn and contributeAbility to communicate with a wide variety of personnelInterest in the Manufacturing IndustryWillingness to seek-out opportunities and ask questionsProgram Qualifications:The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.What We Offer: Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00The base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
