Family-operated since 1957, we’ve built a reputation for doing business the right way—with integrity, urgency, and a commitment to doing right by our customers.Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to help design, develop, and maintain our Salesforce ecosystem. Reporting to the VP of IT, you will be a key player in enhancing our CRM to meet the evolving needs of our business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate their requirements into robust, scalable solutions. Your work will directly impact our company's efficiency and ability to serve our customers. This position requires strong Apex development skills, a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, and the ability to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions. You will work on many of Salesforce's products from Sales Cloud, CPQ, Field Service, Revenue and Marketing Cloud. This is an on-site position at our headquarters based in Schaumburg.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Apex code and maintain automation (Flows, Process Builder) and triggers to automate business processes following SF best practices.
  • Manage, maintain, and enhance integrations with critical 3rd party applications, including Titan Forms, Sage Intacct, SharinPix, and Arcsite solutions.
  • Build and maintain workflows, process builders, flows, validation rules, and custom objects.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure data quality, system security, and compliance with Salesforce governance standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Salesforce configurations and integrations, perform system maintenance and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and deployment activities.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to ensure our platform remains modern and effective.
  • Document existing Salesforce processes, builds, automations, triggers and future enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. • Proven proficiency in Apex code, creating triggers, classes and batch processes, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and APIs.
  • Familiarity with Titan Forms, Sage Intacct, SharinPix, and ArcSite integration or similar solutions is a plus but not a requirement. Should be willing to learn.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce platform, security and data models, governor limits, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification, App Builder or Administrator.
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Background in the construction, field services, or home improvement industry is a big plus.
