Which helps to relieve your student loan debt.Job Description SummaryThe Hospice Float and Admission RN is a versatile position that encompasses admissions and PRN visit help as well as triage and quality & compliance activities as needed. Key characteristics for this role include strong clinical skills, flexibility, organization, compassion, and a team-oriented approach to care.Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:1. Complete scheduled admissions2. Complete urgent Admissions.3. Perform chart audits, compliance tracking and other quality improvement activities.4. Profile medications with hospice pharmacy as needed. Assist case managers in obtaining medication refills.5. Assist in ordering durable medical equipment as needed to support patient care.6. Assist with flu clinics, tracking requests for patient flu vaccination and COVID testing.7. Cover visit help requests per manager request. This includes PPS visits, PRN, and/or routine visits as needed.8. Work collaboratively with Hospice Management team to field triage calls and meet daily needs of hospice patients.The above statements are intended to be a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Has three (3) years nursing experience. Community/home health/hospice or medical/surgical experience is preferred.3. Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state.4. Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.5. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.6. Possesses and maintains CPR certification.7. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
