Job Description:Carat is seeking an Associate Director of Integrated Media Planning.In this hybrid position, you will be part of a high-performing team that is responsible for providing guidance on client and media planning strategy. You will oversee the planning process for a dedicated healthcare client group and collaborate with trafficking, media operations and media buying teams.This role is critical in enforcing and providing input into the overall media planning direction as well as overseeing the quality standards of the team's planning strategy and execution.You will report to the SVP, Client Services and Planning.Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for outputs and the development of media planning team for assigned group of client(s) to improve campaign process to improve and achieve client goals.
  • You will interpret research and provide insight and expertise that translates brand marketing goals into succinct media strategies.
  • Assist in coaching other team members to develop planning strategies that maximize media dollars and media efficiency.
  • Lead the strategic positioning, segmentation initiatives and holistic program planning and communications idea generation/execution.
  • Contribute to the growth of the team's media knowledge, expanding into data and technology.
  • Support the media buying teams throughout the campaign activation process to maintain performance and resolve any campaign-related issues.
  • Prepare reporting documentation and decks for clients demonstrating the strategy and rationale executed to deliver on campaign goals.
  • Contribute to a data-driven, continuous improvement culture within a shared service organization.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of media planning experience focused on all/ 360 media channels
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a client-facing position in an agency setting
  • Experience working with a healthcare client or healthcare-adjacent industry
  • Knowledge of bid management, campaign management and optimization process with key data, supply and DSP partners.
  • Previous experience supporting new business efforts at the network or brand level.
  • Subject matter expert in developing media planning strategies that meet and exceed client campaign goals and objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge of media planning and research tools
  • Ability to instill confidence and manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience researching and generating leads
  • Proficient using data, numbers, and budgets to illustrate client business objectives and drive future planning and decision-making.
Additional InformationThe annual salary range for this position is $68,000 -$110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.Benefits available with this position include:
