The opportunityDelaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Estes Park in Estes Park, CO.In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients after the contract is signed, focusing on event detailing, upselling food and beverage, and ensuring flawless execution of catering-only events. Your expertise will ensure every event is seamless, memorable, and aligned with the highest standards of guest satisfaction.PayMinimum - Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $55,000 - $62,200 / yearIn addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?
  • Partner with Sales Managers to seamlessly transition contracted events into detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring all client specifications are accurately captured.
  • Conduct client consultations to finalize menus, room layouts, timelines, and all event logistics.
  • Identify and proactively upsell food and beverage enhancements, specialty décor, and additional services to maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience.
  • Manage catering-only events from planning through execution, working closely with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients pre- and post-event to ensure satisfaction and address any adjustments.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate, timely BEOs and event resumes to all relevant departments.
  • Attend and represent the property at client tastings, vendor meetings, and site visits as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of current F&B trends, local vendor partnerships, and competitive offerings to provide creative solutions for clients.
More about you
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in catering, event management, or hospitality operations.
  • Strong background in event detailing, BEO creation, and F&B service standards.
  • Proven ability to upsell and increase event revenue while maintaining client trust.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Preferred experience working with Salesforce/Delphi
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
  • No degree required-equivalent professional experience considered.
