- Performing bench work such as isolation of multiple cell types from CNS tissue, library preparation and single cell genomics.
- Optimize cell cultures protocols for functional assays.
- Keep track of existing and novel methods and introduce them when appropriate.
- Generating primary data and communicating the analyses verbally and in writing to teammates.
- You have experience in generating high quality transcriptomic data including cell isolation, RNA extraction and library preparation for both bulk and single cell RNA sequencing.
- You have experience with different microscopy platforms and some image analysis knowledge.
- You have proven your ability to plan, organize and implement studies independently with a large number of samples
- You take pride in being persistent, self-motivated, efficient and extremely well organized

- You demonstrate a track record of learning new things and troubleshooting independently
- You have a M.S. degree and at least 4 years of research experience at the bench in a relevant field or a 4-year degree and more than 8 years of lab experience in a related field
- You have basic computational biology skills
- You have worked with neuronal or microglial cells or brain tissues
- You have experience in spatial transcriptomics
- You have hands-on experience in FACS isolation of multiple different CNS cell types
- You have a working knowledge of CRISPR-based technologies
