Supports the Manager with all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, to ensure safe and reliable aircraft. Promotes a safety conscious workforce to ensure the wellbeing of our employees. Associate Manager will support all duties assigned.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all maintenance activities and personnel assigned, with oversight of maintenance functions and workforce to include but not limited to:
  • Ensure work performed is in accordance with HAL Policies and Procedures and Federal Regulatory requirements. This includes and is not limited to:
  • OEM-Approved Technical Manuals (AMM, SRM, CMM, etc.)
  • HAL-Approved Manuals (GMM, MOPM, SPM, SPPM, SPPM, GSM, JPM, etc.)
  • Government Regulations (FAA, OSHA, EPA, etc.)
  • Maintains situational awareness throughout the daily operation to ensure a safe operation while working to achieve our OTP goals. This includes and is not limited to:
  • Monitor communications between Leads, Managers, and MOC.
  • Coordinates with the maintenance team on any adjustments needed based on operational changes.
  • Disseminates information accurately to Leads and Managers.
  • Ensure all work performed on non-HAL aircraft/equipment is in accordance with HAL company’s policies and procedures and within the scope of the established contract.
  • Build work packages/folders
  • Create work schedules and updates as required.
  • Communicate daily plan.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Planning (HA/DL) and Managers on daily/long-range work packages and unscheduled maintenance events.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Engineering, Line Maintenance, and MOC for resolution to return AOS/AOG aircraft back into service in a safe and timely manner.
  • Work with Maintenance Managers to coordinate and provide/request support staff and technical assistance when required. Research and update TRAX, deferrals, TSI’s, and AO’s events as necessary.
  • Assist Manager with investigations and resolutions to:
  • M&E Safety-related issues
  • QA audit findings and CARs
  • Review completed documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. This includes and is not limited to:
  • Log pages and task cards
  • TRAX entries and deferral updates
  • Sceptre entries and deferral updates
  • Ensure accountability protocols are implemented as required. This includes and is not limited to:
  • Coaching: Discussions and mentorship
  • Provide input to the Manager for employee evaluations
  • Rewards: Mahalograms, MVP, Kupono.
  • Complete administrative tasks required. This includes and is not limited to:
  • Ultipro - Daily timesheets, vacation requests
  • Budget - OT Report updates
  • Attendance File updates
  • Ensure all Mechanic required training and read & signs are current.
  • Ensure that daily work schedule includes:
  • Housekeeping assignments
  • Equipment servicing assignments
  • Collaborate with Team members on the mission of continuous improvement. This includes and is not limited to:
  • SOP development and implementation
  • Process review and refinement
  • Event review and lessons learned
  • Other duties as assigned or directed
  • Responsible for all Manager duties when the Manager is out of office. Will report directly to the Director.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience.
  • Airframe and Power Plant License or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong analytical and operational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work Evening, Holidays, and weekends.
  • Must be able to obtain an SIDA/AOA badge.

  • B787, B717, A321, and A330 experience preferred
  • TRAX experience
  • Technical research and troubleshooting background.
  • 1 year of direct management of a Contract workforce.
  • Experience in FAR part 121 and 145 operations.
  • Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
  • College Degree with an emphasis in Aviation.
