- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in marketing and communications, preferably in an association, nonprofit, or membership organization.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, Google Analytics, social media management tools).
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills, including adherence to AP style.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of or interest in the banking industry and public policy environment is helpful.
- Bachelor's Degree- Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
- Develop and oversee strategic marketing campaigns to promote the association's programs, conferences, publications, and member services.
- Ensure campaigns align with the association's broader communications strategy and advocacy mission.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including designers, marketing contractors, and event app providers.
- Track and report on campaign analytics (email, website, and social media), and adjust strategies to improve performance.
- Oversee the association's website refresh project and provide continued management of the website, ensuring content is timely, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
- Lead the development of social media content and strategy across key platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter).
- Manage digital tools and platforms, including email marketing (Constant Contact), analytics, and event applications.
- Create and edit multimedia content (graphics, video, audio, and podcasts) as needed.
- Contribute to the creation of newsletters, member updates, promotional content, and other digital/print materials.
- Ensure communications uphold the association's tone, style, and branding guidelines.
- Serve as backup publisher of The Daily newsletter.
- Work closely with the Vice President of Communications to ensure alignment of marketing and communications efforts with organizational strategy.
- Collaborate with the Director of Member Engagement to ensure member outreach and communications support engagement goals.
- Coordinate with staff across departments to highlight events, services, and advocacy initiatives.
- Perform other duties as required to support the overall goals of the department/association.
