Structural Design Engineer (EIT or PE)A well-established local company is hiring a Structural Design Engineer. With over 50 years of steady operation and a reputation for quality, this team blends hands-on design, fabrication collaboration, and real project variety—from curved glulam beams to large-scale trusses and commercial timber systems.Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed structural design drawings and calculations for commercial and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet specifications, codes, and project goals.
  • Support project execution—attend site visits, assist with technical reviews, and resolve field design issues.
Qualities & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering; EIT certification required, PE licensure preferred.
  • Proficiency in structural software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, RISA) and familiarity with building codes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to accuracy and collaboration.
