
Mechanic Maintenance

- Follows and promotes on the job safety expectations. (Eyes, ears and L.O.T.O.); Comply with all OSHA required activities for PIT
- Performs routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance; Inspect or test damaged parts and advise supervisor of repairs needed; Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications
- Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime; Repair, calibrate and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of electronic and pneumatic equipment; Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability
- Read work orders and specifications for machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance
- Assures that proper documentation is filled out and spare parts are accurately maintained and identified to provide rapid response to problems.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, work area, equipment, and tools
- HS Diploma or GED; Working knowledge of mechanics; CMRT Certification required and or provable experience to be considered
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, SAP CMMS or equivalent CMMS programs
- PLC software experience preferred, Knowledge of pipe fitting, electrical wiring, and general mechanics
- Experience with pumps (diaphragm and centrifugal) drives: gearbox, belts, chain, hydraulic, couplings, motor-air, bearings, shafts, nuts, bolts, taps, and dies; Electrical: High voltage 460-volt 3 phase, motor controls, low voltage; Experience knowledge with process control transmitters and safety switches is preferred; Air compressor system- including filters regulators, dryers, and lubricators.
- Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and equipment manuals; Strong math aptitude; Self-motivated Individual
- Five (5) years Industrial Maintenance experience
- Technical School diploma
- Company paid training to achieve proper certification/training available for qualified candidates based on experience/skill set
