
Machine Operator (3rd Shift)

- Place correct roles into Bagger Machine and replace when necessary.
- Consult the Production Schedule to determine the correct product is being run.
- Ensure all procedures for quality, hygiene, housekeeping are strictly followed and issues reported
- Ensure all quality and Safety regimes are adhered to, to include testing, cleaning, pre-start checks and that documentation is completed accordingly to agreed standards (e.g. H&S and Quality procedures)
- Effectively operate the dynamics of the machine including changing recipes, preparing for Leaks, double checking labels, restock with powders, and test when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the team to adhere to and improve Health & Safety procedures
- Achieve weekly output targets to ensure customer service levels are not compromised.
- Providing effective and ongoing communication within the team
- Ensure all CCP's and OPR's are strictly followed
- Ensure the area is audit ready or visitor ready every day as measured to agreed procedures
- Ensure SOPs and associated best practice documents are adhered to
- To carry out production in an efficient manner according to the agreed schedules
- To ensure that all customer specifications are achieved relating to product dimension, packaging, labelling and shelf life
- To ensure all relevant procedures (on line quality checks) are followed correctly
- To inform management of any problems or concerns relating to the quality of the final product
- To ensure GMP in all areas relating to production are kept neat and tidy during production
- To carry out the production of all samples which are added to the plan on a daily basis
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Solid work history is a must
- Basic math, reading and communications skills

- Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time- (10-hour days)
- Ability to talk, hear and carry out directions in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability work with hands and to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and occasionally up to 100lbs
- Ability to adjust body position to bend, stand, walk, turn, and pivot
- Ability to make minor decisions based on standard practice
