Join Gleeson Constructors & Engineers, a national design-build firm with 45+ years of food industry construction experience. We’re looking for skilled Carpenters who can read blueprints, work independently, and take pride in clean, detailed work—especially with doors, trim, and panel systems.This is not general labor. We're seeking professionals with commercial experience who know how to follow specs, work safely, and meet jobsite expectations.This position is with Gleeson Constructors & Engineers, LLC, as the design-build contractor partnering with OLM Foods on their project in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. You will be working directly for Gleeson as we construct this new facility.💵 Starting wages $23 - $32 an hour DOE! - OVERTIME most weeks- 50 + hours- Weekly paydays (Fridays)

  • Read blueprints and accurately interpret details for layout, framing, and finish work
  • Install hollow metal doors, insulated metal panels, and door hardware
  • Hang doors, trim out openings, and perform detailed caulking work for airtight, sanitary finishes
  • Assist with layout, scaffolding, and basic concrete forming
  • Maintain clean, precise workmanship aligned with commercial food-grade standards
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent and crew to meet project goals and timelines
Requirements:
  • Prior commercial construction or finish carpentry experience (required).
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and layout
  • Ability to properly hang doors and install hardware and accessories
  • Experience with caulking/sealing in clean environments is a plus
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and jobsite safety
  • Pre-employment physical and drug screen required
