Primarily office-based with field visits as necessary within a 120-mile radius.Reports To: VP Of ConstructionPay: Salary: $80,000-$130,000 ExemptPositions Supervised: N/AEssential ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager manages and is accountable for the project management, contract performance, and internal interface of assigned projectsManages development projects of moderate complexity and scope, capital projects, or portions of projects/programsServes as the focal point to all stakeholders, both internal and external, for the project(s)Ensures customer requirements are met and are in the best interests by creating the program charter, baseline plan, and other program management componentsEnsures that the cost basis and/or pricing is correct by evaluating resource requirements, and performing risk analysisDefines plans and monitors costs and technical performance to milestones/schedules for customer projects through coordinated team effortMakes decision on technical and schedule priorities for projects within the team's scopeContinually improves project effectiveness through process and system standardizationCommunicates project status to staff, management, and customer through project/program reviews and elevates issues as requiredMakes project decisions within overall budget and resources parametersUtilize cost and budget parameters as input for project prioritizationLeads team (direct and/or cross-functional) to develop action plans to drive improved project performance Requirements:Education / Experience3+ years of experience with Project Management in construction industryBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or architecture is highly desirableProficiency with financial analysis (e.g. cost breakdowns, risk analysis, budget, etc) and experience with cost, contract terms and conditions, and profit decisionsThorough knowledge of regulatory compliance and industryProven ability to foster teamwork and cooperation with diverse groups of employeesMust have a Valid Drivers LicenseKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent personal client and team building and communication skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and scheduling programsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong background in commercial construction projectsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, accountableExceptional analytical and problem solving skillsDemonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projectsField experience coordinating with construction managementDemonstrated ability to run profitable portfolioExtensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take offs, change orders and contractsAPX Construction Group offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, short- & long-term disability, etc.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
