
Aviation Engineering Intern - Spring 2026

- Create, adjust, and organize technical documents to assist a respective mentor
- Consolidate and streamline information regarding engineering documents to assist maintenance crew on the floor
- Gather and condense information through company databases to deliver to the engineering/maintenance department
- Analyze aircraft change requests for economic viability and fleet convenience
- Brainstorm ways to improve operations within the engineering department, improve operations between other departments and increase efficiency between Headquarters and crews at Republic Airways bases.
- Create, update, or review engineering documents as assigned
- Attend meetings and vendor functions
- Assist in duties, projects, and presentations as assigned
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Aeronautical Engineering Technology (AET) or related.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group
- Strong analytical skill
- Pursuing Airframe and Powerplant Certification.
- Ability to work onsite at our Indianapolis Headquarters location, unless otherwise directed by hiring manager
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
