
QA/QC Engineer – Data Center Construction

- Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, inspection checklists, and quality documentation.
- Review and approve Material Technical Data Sheets (MTDS) for compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and submit Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Control Procedures.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with design documents, contract requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections, approvals, and quality sign-offs.
- Identify and document non-conformances (NCRs); implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Track quality metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders on quality performance.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation of quality records.
- Lead and participate in quality-related meetings with project teams and contractors.
- Communicate quality expectations clearly and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Train and guide site personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Contribute to the preparation of quality turnover packages and final quality reviews.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in data center or mission-critical construction environments.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, QA/QC principles, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Familiarity with quality standards and data center construction requirements is a plus.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Six Sigma, or equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to travel to various data center construction sites as required.
