DescriptionJob Title: Staff Attorney – General Commercial Litigation (Permanent)Compensation: $150,000-$250,000Location: Manhattan, New York (On-Site)About the Role: Our client, a prestigious New York litigation boutique, seeks a talented and motivated Staff Attorney with experience in general commercial litigation matters to join the team in Manhattan. The role is permanent, but we are open to considering temporary-to-permanent arrangements for the right candidate. This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for an attorney looking to continue their career in high-level commercial litigation. Please note that this is an on-site position, and candidates must be able to work in the Manhattan office.Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the management of complex general commercial litigation matters, with a heavy focus on document review and production.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to support client cases, ensuring all necessary documentation is organized and reviewed thoroughly.
  • Provide substantive legal support, including research, drafting of legal memoranda, and preparation of discovery responses.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials and motions as needed.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in general commercial litigation, ideally gained at an AMLAW 100 firm or a litigation boutique.
  • Solid experience with both document production and substantive legal work.
  • A J.D. from a top law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Admission to the New York Bar is required.
  • Staff Attorney level experience with a focus on handling sophisticated matters.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
