- Prepping and cooking menu items according to instruction and support from the executive and sous chefs
- Labeling, stocking, and organizing ingredients to sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Managing ingredients and inventory; communicating and reporting to the executive and sous chefs
- Providing support in the following areas: events line execution, wine bar food prep, pastry/baking prep, and porter
- 1+ year of kitchen experience or equivalent culinary education
- ServSafe and/or California Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to adjust and modify recipe quantity
- Safe knife skills and kitchen sanitation knowledge
- Ability to work effectively in a team, be proactive, have a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and effective communication
- Ability to work a flexible daytime schedule (Tuesday - Thursday availability required)
- Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and reach frequently for the duration of the shift
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Handles sharp and hot tools regularly
- Frequently utilizes cleaning chemicals
- Drive to/from the offsite kitchen in San Jose to the Winery in Los Gatos, as needed
