- Work directly with the Geospatial Project Managers and Technical Managers and assist in various aspects on numerous GIS projects.
- Work effectively with business unit SMEs, business analysts, developers, vendors, and end users in cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter, able to manage multiple tasks concurrently, either on one project or on many .
- Influence, advice and support stakeholders by making appropriate recommendations regarding scope, user stories and product design.
- Provide feedback and recommendations from clients to the team to continually advance and progress our practice.
- Develop effective and efficient process and QA/QC workflows to support the project team in executing the planned solution.
- Produce and Own documentation artifacts - TRDs, User Stories, Process workflows, Technical Documentation, Training Manual etc.
- Design clear Testing Plan and produce testing artifacts - Test scenarios, user cases, test plan documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform quality control procedures on deliverables.
- Prepare and present technical information to team members and management.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- 6-8 years of experience with geographic concepts and GIS software.
- GISP certification preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in SCRUM methodologies and activities preferred.
- Experience in creating and configuring web apps and web pages within ArcGIS Enterprise Portal and/or ArcGIS Online, including Experience Builder, Dashboards, Survey123 Connect, and Field Maps.
- Possess a proficient understanding and a willingness to train on many aspects of GIS and Esri ArcGIS technology.
- Proven experience using and developing solutions with ArcGIS Pro.
- Proficient in testing desktop and web applications, APIs, Rest services, database systems, and full stack cloud native applications.
- Proven experience in Python scripting.
- Esri Roads & Highways experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Jira for task tracking and Confluence for documentation.
- Other essential skills include creative problem-solving, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of GIS projects, processes, and execution.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams across the company is essential.
- Demonstrated experience working in fast paced and dynamic teams
- Self-motivated to stay informed on geospatial technology advancements and desire to learn cross discipline skill sets or to earn certifications in evolving GIS technologies.
- Technical writing experience and interest is a plus to assist us in developing content for proposals and marketing material.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential - working remotely requires team members to be interacting daily via teams, email, or phone calls.
- Proven work history, strong work ethic, responsiveness, accountability, and a team-player attitude are a must.
- May be remote, hybrid, or in the office, depending on location.
- Must have high speed internet and suitable workspace to work remotely.
