Position Summary:Under general supervision of a pathologist, independently performs or assists in accessioning, dissection, description, and histologic sampling of a full range of surgical specimens and hospital autopsy cases. Assists on and processes both histological and cytological specimens and aids with supervisory functions of the anatomical pathology department.Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant program and NYS licensure as a Pathologist Assistant.
