Shift:Day shift – 5x8-Hour (Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
No on-callJob Responsibilities:
- Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical pathology specimens
- Assist in autopsies and preparation of tissue samples
- Work collaboratively with pathologists in surgical pathology, histology, cytology, and general pathology
- Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and handling of specimens
- Maintain compliance with laboratory protocols and quality standards
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant program
- NYS license as a Pathologist Assistant (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pathologist Assistant
