
Senior Systems Engineer - Air Combat Training (Onsite)

- Support the engineering effort to produce, test, troubleshoot, repair, and deliver air combat test and training hardware
- Update, review, and release drawings and documentation
- Create change orders, engineering change proposals, and waivers
- Coordinate with Operations, Value Stream Leaders, and customers
- Perform Control Account Manager (CAM) duties utilizing earned value management methods, including bidding, planning, overseeing, and communicating project cost, schedule, and risk
- Work in a flexible agile development environment
- Manage multiple competing tasks while balancing priorities
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret or above security clearance
- Experience making decisions that impact cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Outstanding teamwork, organization, and communication skills
- Willing to travel up to 10%
- Experience with the manufacturing and production of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) or Line Replaceable Units (LRUs)
- Familiarity with engineering drawings or electrical schematics
- Working knowledge of military networking, communication, navigation, cybersecurity, or encryption systems or avionics data buses
- Experience with enterprise resource planning software and product data management systems
- Background as a CAM using earned value management
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Experience in an Scaled Agile environment
- Familiarity with US export regulations: International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
- Currently hold a security clearance or have held one within the past two years
