
Maintenance Technician

- Maintain coating manufacturing equipment with logs/schedules/spare parts/etc to eliminate downtime
- Coordinate PM schedules with engineering and materials supervisor
- Assist in other areas of facilities as required with facilities supervisor
- Perform weekly preventive maintenance on vacuum deposition systems following established schedules and intervals
- Replace coating components and other critical parts
- Disassemble reactor chambers and ensure the external rework and refurbishment process is properly managed and controlled
- Inspect and document equipment condition before and after maintenance
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, particularly when handling and installing coating precursors
- Follow best practices in vacuum technology and cleanroom procedures
- Assist in identifying, responding to, and resolving tool-related emergencies to minimize equipment downtime
- Collaborate closely with process engineers, operations, and EHS teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement of PM procedures and system reliability
- 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Must have ability to use a variety of mechanical tools and use electronic test equipment.
- Must be organized and keep accurate records.
- Must have experience with handling hazardous materials and using proper safety protocols (ex: pyrophoric)
- Must communicate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Will be expected to interface effectively with supervision and work in a team based environment.
- Must be comfortable using PC's and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- May be required to lift moderately heavy instruments (up to 50 lbs) on a weekly basis and must have a reasonable level of manual dexterity.
