Responsibilities
  • Designs, develops, organizes, prepares and conducts training courses and coaching initiatives for Fund employees
  • Ensures programs are consistent with the Fund mission, the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), comply with legal requirements, and promote positive employee relations
  • Assists in the preparation and set up of training courses, skill development sessions and materials and/or the procurement of outside training sources, coordination of enrollments and scheduling of courses
  • Instructional design of training material and ancillary documents (slides, workbooks, handouts, facilitation guides, etc.)
  • Facilitates skill development training and coaching initiatives for individual and small groups in socially distanced classroom setting (when appropriate)
  • Develop eLearning content and conduct virtual facilitation sessions
  • Conducts performance management interventions (coaching memo’s, performance improvement plans)
  • Engage with multi-disciplinary initiatives across the Funds, partnering with management at all levels
  • Perform additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, or related field; or the equivalent experience
  • Minimum two (2) years practical Training and/or Organizational Development experience required
  • Must have experience designing, delivering and evaluating training needs pre/post assessments, developing effective training programs and materials, and presenting course materials in a training environment.
  • Minimum of (1) year eLearning design using Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Lectora or Elucidat a plus
  • Must be able to facilitate in a lead capacity and be comfortable with using good judgment to make independent decisions based upon limited information and time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word and PowerPoint required; additional proficiency in eLearning tools is a plus; additional familiarity with cloud-based solutions a plus (office.com)
  • Proficiency in Snag-it Screen Capture Software a plus
  • Proficiency in using virtual facilitation tools: Zoom, Annotate, Breakout Rooms, Google Suite Tools, etc.
  • Must meet expected professional performance standards including attendance and punctuality
  • Hours of availability fluctuate: must be able to accommodate availability as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 6:00 pm on scheduled training days; normal business hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on non-training days
  • Must be able to interact with and facilitate learning sessions for three to five hours in length
