- Assist Superintendent in preparation of the weekly 'Short Term Look Ahead Schedule' to monitor progress and assure all work is scheduled for maximum efficiency.

- The PE works equally and directly for both the PM and the project Superintendent.
- Performs project duties with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Works as a team with assigned superintendent(s), Project Managers to build projects in a controlled manner.
- The role of the PE on a project is to administer project business including document control, startup activities including buyout, submittal management, RFI processing, Subcontractor coordination, and supporting the technical and administrative needs of the Superintendent.
- Primarily located on the project site. If assigned to the site, it is expected the PE at his desk ready to work at the beginning of the work day on site.
- Acts as a company representative to the Owner on assigned projects.
- Maintains strict adherence to Company processes and procedures.
- Studies the prime contract with the owner and is responsible to know our rights and obligations under the contract.
- Understands the notice provisions of the prime contract and follows strict adherence to them to preserve our rights and reduce our risk.
- The PE is empowered to escalate issues to more senior managers to seek greater company support at the earliest sign of jeopardy of the project's success.
- years of relevant project experience in of all phases of construction.
- Degree in Construction Management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, or related field.
- Organized with a systematic approach to achieve high level results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities.
- Expertise in QSP, SWPPP, LEED and sustainability is a plus.
- Knowledge of Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Primavera, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and Viewpoint project manager software is a plus.
